Oolenoy River County Wide Revival

From the Desk of Rev. C. L. Cruell:

Dear Members:

The time has almost arrived for our County-Wide Revival. This year's revival is needed more than ever before. We are faced with devastation, situations, war and rumors of war all over the world. Our government leaders are unrelented in their quest for war instead of peace.

it is our prayer and hope that our country will pray for a hopeful and peaceful solution to this horrible situation. It is our hope that not only our world is spiritually renewed, but also our communities as well.

Listed below are some details about the revival that may interest you and allow an opportunity to become involved and active participants.

• The County Wide Revival will be held at Easley Union Baptist Church in Easley, South Carolina on April 14-18, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. nightly. The minister for the week is Rev. Johnny Johnson, the pastor of White Plains Baptist Church in Laurens, South Carolina.

•  

• Youth Choir Rehearsal for April is April 5 and April 12 at Easley Union Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m.

•  

• There will be a Pre-Revival prayer Session at Jesus is Lord Ministries on April 11, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. All Pastors, Ministers, preachers etc. are invited to attend.

•  

• The Oolenoy River Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2003, at Griffin Ebenezer at 9:00 a.m. The speaker is Rev. Robert E. Dennis, Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Simpsonville, South Carolina.

•  

• The youth explosion will be at Griffin Ebenezer on sunday April, 13, 2003 at 6:00 p.m.

•  

• Tuesday Morning, April 15, 2003 at 6:30 a.m. at the Pickens County Prison in Pickens, South Carolina.

•  

• At 12:00 noon at Easley Union Baptist Church there will be a luncheon on Wednesday, April 16, 2003.

Truly this is a time to reflect. Thank God and ask God to help God in Our Spiritual Renewal Process.

Revival Schedule

April 14-18, 2003

Church Conference

All members are welcome to attend the Church Conference on April 7, 2003.

Children's Church

For the month of April, Children's Church will be dealing with Easter from Palm Sunday to the death and Resurrection of Christ.

Memory Verse

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.

Sunrise Service

Rev. McKinney, of new Foundation will be the speaker for Sunrise Services on Sunday, April 20, 2003 at Easley Union.

Women's Day

Women's Day will be April 27, 2003. The speaker will be Minister Helen Brown of Popular Springs Baptist Church.

Hat Extravaganza

There will be a hat show on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. Donation is $5.00. Contact Kerry Ferguson, Katrina Collins and Denise Garrett.
